Jalan-Jalan ke Bangkok, Thailand

A few months ago (well, actually last year December 2018 but I never had time to blog about it) we went to Bangkok for the second time! Why? Because it's an affordable getaway.

This time we stayed at KLUB Hotel. And guysss, Klub Hotel was amazing. Usually when we book this kind of quirky-styled hotels, the rooms we get are pretty small. But the room we got at Klub Hotel was spaaacious. Breakfast is not halal, but that's never really my top priority when choosing a hotel. I love that it's super clean, there is a free shuttle tuk-tuk service to nearby areas including Platinum Mall, there's a small cinema (in the hotel yes), a small game are, massage chairs & a laundry room! What's better than coming back home with no dirty laundy kan?!
Apart from the amazing malls like Siam Paragon and all, you cannot miss Chatuchak Weekend Market. Kalau tak pergi Chatuchak boleh dikatakan macam as if tak pergi Bangkok langsung. One word to describe the place? HANTU. Don't forget your sunglasses, mini portable fan, a large shopping bag & of course, money. Also, wear the most comfortable outfit you have.
When you're at Chatuchak, visit Kah-Jak (section 18, between Soi 25/8 and 26/8)! It's halal, muslim-owned & SEDAP GILA! Your life will never be the same again after you try authentic thai food & have a glass of their amazing iced tea. There's a nice halal kebab shop when you walk along the main road at Chatuchak too. We also recommend Yana Restaurant at MBK Mall.
We travel around via Grab, their local taxis & Tuk Tuks. If you don't want to get scammed by Tuk Tuk riders, you can check the Grab app to see how much your trip is supposed to cost, then you can agak agak when tawar menawar. Haaa, pandai tak?
Ok, tu jelah yang dapat kita share for now.
Semoga ada manfaatnya!
